SENATOR OMO AGEGE ABSENT AT SENATE AFTER COURT RULING

Senator Omo Agege refused to appear in Senate Plenary today after Abuja High Court ruled that Senate erred by suspending him.

Security was beefed up today with security men refusing anyone without ID card entry to the premises in the entire National Assembly as there was rumours that the embattled Senator will appear in plenary today.

Recall that the Senator was suspended by the Senate for his statement to the media that the planned review of Electoral Law to alter the election timestable was targeted at Mr President.

Senate leadership had fingered him in the entire mace robbery case which is already under investigation.
