CHELSEA BEAT MANCHESTER UNITED AS WEST HAM SACKS COACH BILIC

It was a weekend termed decider weekend for premier league leaders as Chelsea consolidated the Champions league spot by beating arch rivals Manchester United by a headed goal from Alvaro Morata to keep them at 4th place with 22 points. Chelsea dominatedd the encounter with flurry of chances and major culprits were Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata who had one on one with De Gea but indecision forced united defender to disposs him.

In Manchester City, City stamped their authority with 8 points adrift by beating Arsenal 3-1 at Etihad Stadium. This result puts the league at the mercy of City. Its their league to loose right now because not in records has any team been 8 points adrift this early in the season in premier league.

West Ham on the other had no other choice but to sack their coach Bilic after they lost 1-4 to Liverpool at home. The result forced them to the bottom three, leaving the management no choice than to sack the struggling coach. West Ham has struggled since the beginning of the season and many saw this coming.

It is rumoured that David Moyes former Everton coach has been lined up for replacement. The statement on their website reads,

"West Ham United can confirm that Slaven Bilic has today left his position with the club," read a statement on their official website.

"The chairmen and board of West Ham United would like to place on record their thanks and gratitude to Slaven and his team for their services over the past two-and-a-half years, but believe a change is now necessary in order for the club to move forward positively and in line with their ambition.

“West Ham United can confirm that Bilic’s coaching assistants Nikola Jurcevic, Edin Terzic, Julian Dicks and Miljenko Rak have also left the club with immediate effect.

“The club’s search for a new manager to take West Ham United forward is underway and an announcement regarding Bilic’s successor is expected to be made over the coming days.”
