IT ALL AMOUNTS TO VANITY- SENATOR PHILLIP ADUDA ON THE DEATH OF SENATOR ALI WAKILI

In today’s valedictory session at Senate Chambers in honour of late Senator Ali Wakili, the erudite Minority Whip Senator Phillip Aduda in his contribution said the death of Ali Wakili all of a sudden shows that in everything in life, it all amounts to vanity upon vanity. He started by recounting how they went to Kano on Friday for a wedding, only to wake up the next day to hear of his death. It’s unbelievable he said. He said they took picture together at the airport.
He went on to say that they discussed the issue between late Senator Wakili and Bauchi State governor, and he told him that they are already on the part of peace.
Furthermore, he said everyday he comes to the chambers, Senator Wakili will always insist that they take pictures together in front of the chambers. He called him a jolly good fellow
On politics, he said they discussed 2019 elections, not knowing that he wont be there to witness 2019.
Concluded, when he called his death a heavy loss hence prayed to God to give the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
