Senate Minority Whip Senator Phillip Aduda contributed to the motion before the floor of the senate to investigate the saga between Senator Dino Melaye and Kogi State Governor.
Contributing, he said he is very very worried about how situations are unravelling in Kogi State. We need to be careful very careful he said.
Continuing, he said Kogi State Governor, has been allowed to do whatever he likes and no one is cautioning him.
He said it starts with a very small process like this and later snowball into something beyond our control.
" Kogi State Governor could derail this democracy" he said.
He went on to state that the obvious facts they know is that first there was assassination attempt on Dino Melaye, only for the issue to now turn around to be Dino sponsoring criminals. Something is wrong somewhere.
Finally he called on the Senate to raise a strong voice to condemn what is happening in Kogi, because Bello is turning to a monster who wants to destroy the foundation of our democracy and its is unacceptable.
