SENATE LOWERS ITS FLAG OF SESSION AT HALF MAST FOR SENATOR ALI WAKILI


Nigerian Senate today closed its session after mere opening the plenary in honour of late Senator Ali Wakili who died on Saturday abruptly.

This was communicated to the floor through a point of order by Senate Leader who reminded the Senate of there ritual practice of closing whole day session in honour of any colleague that dies in the course of his or her service to the nation.

Plenary was adjourned till tomorrow by Senate President who promised that a valedictory session in honour of the late Senator will take place tomorrow to.
