BUDGET PASSAGE: SARAKI READS RIOT ACT TO COMMITTEES

Senate President Bukola Saraki today called out the names of the Committees that have not yet concluded and submitted their 2018 budget committee reports.

He went ahead to reel out the names of the committees that have not yet submitted gave them up until Friday tomorrow to submit to avoid holding the Senate to ransom.

Recall that the executive and the National Assembly are having loggerheads over the delay of the 2018 budget proposal. The national assembly accused the MDAs of refusing to come for their budget defence.

With this, it shows that the Senate wants to speedily pass the budget.
