The Deputy Speaker Yusuf Lasun confirmed to the media that National Assembly will resume next week Tuesday to deliberate matters of urgent national interest.
The National Assembly has been under attack by PAC stakeholders over its recess when the budget of INEC is sitting on its take seeking approval. Saraki has been accused of closing the national assembly for his own selfish interest thereby putting next year's election in jeopardy.
The Federal Govt had sent in a Virement and Supplementary budget request of N242B fro INEC to enable the electoral body undertake all the costs of executing a credible and hitch free elections in 2019 without excuses.
The National assembly was closed hurriedly after the defection of the members of both houses to PDP from APC to forestall crisis that was breeding after that announcement.
