The UAE ended 2020 with a bang. Literally. About 33 fireworks shows lit up the skies simultaneously as the clock struck 12 and ushered in the New Year 2021.

One of them is happening right now as we speak. Abu Dhabi's Al Wathba is hosting a 35-minute fireworks show that is set to smash two world records.

Dubai's Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab and the Dubai Frame; Sharjah's Al Majaz Waterfront; Ras Al Khaimah's Al Marjan Island; Ajman's Corniche; and Fujairah's Corniche put up spectacular shows that will light up the memories of revellers for years to come.
