CONSISTENCY IN ETHNIC BIGOTRY BY YORUBA RONUS IN LAGOS TAKING DANGEROUS DIMENSION

Once again the Lagos Ronu APC wing is continuing in the trajectory of ethnic bigotry and hate against Igbos, a trend that even though was done in low key previously and under the cover in previous years, exploded in the open since Peter Obi and Labour Party defeated President Tinubu in Lagos in 2023.

All hell were let loose and anarchy was unleashed on the people in the subsequent Gubernatorial election same year. Guns, matchetes were all used on Igbos especially in Igbo dominated areas where they expected Ghadebo Rhodes Vivour and Labour Party to win with landslides. Even some Pretty Yoruba women and handsome Yoruba men were not spared. They were simple denied their franchise too just like Igbos because they were mistaken to be Igbos for looking very pretty and handsome when Yorubas were supposed to look ugly and dirty.

Today, Sanwo Olu on whose tenure this worst atrocity and ethnic profiling is happening, has decided to even take this plot further more.

First, the Lagos House of Assembly under Sanwo Olu post 2023 election declared in the open in 2023 that they would introduce legislations that will restrict Igbo land ownership in Lagos and reverse the trend.

Truly they are living to their plot and declaration as since then, we are periodically been shown another angle of the bigotry and hate to tame and suppress Igbo growth and success in Lagos.

The latest one now is renaming of all streets in Lagos with Igbo to Yoruba names including the famous Charly Boy bus stop in Gbagada Lagos. And one Ronu online e-rat said Igbos are territorial.

Kemi Badenoch a Yoruba woman in UK, who was not even born in UK is their citizen, surely owns house there and the leader of opposition party meaning she could be Prime Minister tomorrow. So is she territorial for making a place where she has lived for years her home hence to exercise her franchise to vote and seek to be voted for even when she is not native UK citizen.? 

Bigotry is a disease worse than malaria and cancer put together . "Dem dey tell una make una travel get foreign and western country exposure una say na to dey eat amala every morning dey do baba sope politics na him be life", I weep for our country. 

That’s why Nigeria continues to decline because for the past 10yrs we have allowed two worst ethnic bigots and jingos in the person of Buhari and Tinubu to take our country backwards. Today Lagos state Govt is destroying entire estates that worths billions of people’s sweat overnight without adequate notice or compensation just because the majority are Igbos. 

Yorubas who look beautiful were denied their franchise because they look beautiful like Igbos, JAMB results of entire region was glitched overnight just cuz they are Igbos and excellent in their performance, NECO, GCE were not left out.

We cant forget or skip Tinubu students loan scheme NELFUND, where conventionally with this EMILOKAN Govt they also shut out South East students from the scheme. When South East lawmakers raised eye brows they came up with another flimsy excuses of why an entire region in Nigeria was excluded in a national scheme funded by Nigerian  money of which heavy chunk of it came from Niger Delta revenue from oil of which South East is part and parcel and a stakeholder. 

Just when we thought they’re done with the bigotry. The next step is now changing all the streets named after Igbos in the entire Lagos. A metropolitan city that was once capital of Nigeria built with money from Niger Delta region where Igbos are part and parcel. 

We are waiting for the next one. There is nothing an envious and jealous person will not do to rubbish anyone he feels is better than him. 

Maybe tomorrow they will tell all Igbos to go back so that they can claim all the houses, businesses built by Igbos as they did during the war and still did not achieve anything with it except to resell the same properties to their original owners Igbos who survived , only to use the sales proceeds to do "Owambe" and come back to say Igbos are territorial for land that was sold to them by the owners who lavished their proceeds on more wives and Owambe party.

I weep for the Ronus cuz this precedence they are setting, Will come back to hunt them. Tinubu will not rule forever. Today barely 2yrs after Presidency, Buhari is being devoured by maggots and his family will eventually end up in court over the little wealth he stole. Life is transient same as being president of Nigeria. 

It’s for maximum 8yrs, and another person and another region will take over. But bigots are semi illiterates and ignorant people that are beclouded by the present. Ronus make una continue, Tinubu Presidency has indeed exposed the deep rooted bigotry and ethnic hatred in Lagos by Ronus because there are many Yorubas who do not belong to this ethnic hate and bigotry club.

We are watching while also helping Ronus to store and archive all this because we know they love protest and destabilization of every Govt that is not theirs, when the time for pay back comes, i hope they will not take to the streets to protest and possibly flip the bigotry on Igbos as they did during the war by spreading lies on media that Igbos were the architect of the war even when the war was fought because of Awolowo. 

Thank God for an open mainstream and liberalised media and social media today, those lies and deceit will not hold water anymore. The entire world including GROK are watching and keeping records.
