Breaking News: Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), is set to establish a WTO sub-office in Aba, Abia State.

 

This would make Aba the first city in Africa to host a WTO presence of this kind. 

According to Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Aba offers greater security for foreign investors than many parts of Nigeria and Africa at large. 

Combined with its improving power supply (constant electricity), the city is well-positioned to host such an office.
