Popular Nigerian content creator Peller has revealed that most of the dollar bills he received at his recent wedding ceremony with his wife, Jarvis, turned out to be counterfeit.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Peller said he took the cash to the bank after the wedding, only to discover that a large portion of it was fake.
“I went to the bank after my wedding to change the dollars, and most of the money was fake,” he said.
According to him, while some guests genuinely gifted him real cash, others sprayed him with counterfeit dollar notes. He added that he could easily recognize those who gave him authentic money, saying, “The people that gave me real money, I know them.”
He expressed disappointment over the incident, lamenting that many of the dollar notes he received and had flaunted online after his wedding day turned out to be fake.
