Tinubu’s Minister Keyamo Panics Over #RigAndDie Warning As Nigerians Remind APC Ruling Class Of Buhari’s 2019 Shoot-On-Sight Order For Ballot Box Snatchers And Election Riggers

Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, appears to have gone into panic mode following the growing #RigAndDie warning by Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general elections, rushing to caution citizens against taking up arms to defend their votes.

Keyamo, in a lengthy statement posted on X, warned Nigerians against resorting to violence under the guise of protecting their votes, arguing that anyone who carries dangerous weapons, attacks others or engages in violent conduct could be lawfully neutralised by security operatives.

His reaction comes amid growing public warnings against alleged plans to manipulate the 2027 elections, with Nigerians insisting that any attempt to rig the polls will not be accepted.

Keyamo also accused politicians of encouraging young Nigerians to engage in electoral violence while keeping their own children away from danger, questioning why those making such calls would not allow their children to participate in the same activities.

However, Nigerians have reminded the All Progressives Congress (APC) ruling class of former President Muhammadu Buhari’s controversial February 2019 shoot-on-sight directive against ballot box snatchers and those leading political thugs to disrupt elections.

Buhari had warned that anyone caught snatching ballot boxes during the 2019 elections would do so at the risk of their lives, adding that he had directed security agencies to deal ruthlessly with electoral offenders.
