Athletico Madrid forced Chelsea into a 1-1 draw at the Stamford Bridge in one of the group final matches of European Champions League. Saul Niguez had set Athletico up to grab a win at 56th minute of the match, Chelsea rallied to level at the 75th minute through an own goal by Stefan Sevic.
The result leaves Chelsea with 11 points same with Roma who top the group on head to head rules. This leaves Chelsea to face top group finisher, making their next encounter in the league very dicey and interesting.
Athletic finished third in the group with 7 points.
