Anambra Rerun election campaign begins ahead of January 13TH Election

All is set for Anambra Central Senatorial District rerun election fixed for January 13^th by INEC. Victor Umeh the candidate for APGA has commenced campaigns while PDP has called on INEC to shelve the election and obey court order to avoid wasting tax payers money.

Rewind to recall that the sit has been vacant since 2015 when court sacked Uche Ekwunife who was representing the zone at Senate under PDP ticket. PDP was also disqualified from participating while giving INEC 90 Days to conduct fresh rerun.

The matter has lingered too long with many litigations and counter litigations, but finally INEC is poised to bring the matter to a closure with election scheduled for Janurary 13^th this coming Saturday.
