INEC has rolled out timestable for 2019 General Election through a press conference today. Addressing the press conference, INEC Chairman said as our democracy deepens and grows with wide coverage too, there is need for adequate planning and logistic which involves keeping all the stakeholders informed ahead for early and adequate preparations.
According to the timestable, Presidential and National Assembly elections primaries will commence in August 18th, while campaigns will start in November 18th, 2018
Governorship and State Assembly elections will commence in December 1st 2018.
While Presidential and National Assembly Elections will hold on February 16th, 2019, while The Governorship, State Assembly and Council elections in Federal Capital will take place on March 2nd, 2019
