The National Assembly has resumed Budget Committee Meetings today to continue deliberations and budget defence by MDAs over the 2018 Budget proposal. Its obvious that the budget will not be passed very early as anticipated to return our budget calendar year to January- December rotation as anticipated.
Budget passing is a big process that certainly cannot be consummated within just one month considering the presentation which was done by the President in November.
However, plenaries will resume at National Assembly on January 16th next week.
