The Senate Minority leader, distinguished senator Akpabio contribute to a motion by Dino Melaye on Kogi State Govt over establishment of Vigilante through state law.
Dino Melaye accused the State Govt of establishing illegal Vigilante and empowered them to carry arms against our Federal law.
Contributing to the Motion, Senator Akpabio started by saying Kogi Again (thrice). He said in Kogi, we are seeing a youthful governor who is giving the impression that they the elders should continue recycling themselves that the youths are not ready.
Furthermore he said, the Senate is yet to receive intelligence reports on the military hardwares imported into the country by Kogi State and now another controversial law is already in the offing.
He went on to say that allowing vigilante to carry arms is almost legalising illegality, thuggery and militancy.
He supported the motion wholeheartedly.
