DINO MELAYE LIVE ON SENATE CHAMBERS TODAY

Senator Dino Melaye contributed to the motion on the floor of the Senate to investigate the recent saga between him and Kogi Governor.

He started with this famous biblical quote:
"Though i walk through the valley of death, i fear no evil"

He said the media has been awashed by lies on the social media that he has fled Nigeria for fear of persecution, even when he is right here flesh and blood.

He went on to state the following facts of the issue at hand which are:
 i. He has not received any notice from any court
ii. No attempt has been made to serve him sermon as his house and office are open to public knowledge
iii. Despite the fact that he has not been served any document, his arraignment has already taken place on the pages of newspaper
iv. No date has been given for any court issue against him.
v. Using a quote to buttress his point of the inconsistency and lack of correlation in the story of the police, he said: "The court is buried, but they left its leg outside", unquote.
vi. Why would Abuja PPRO go to Kogi to parade criminals when Kogi State has PPRO he querried.

He concluded with another Biblical quote saying, "We shall know the truth, and the truth shall set us free" Also he went on to say,
" What God has given me, no man can take it away."

Fianlly, he said he has written many international organisations like UN about what is happening and he would be on CNN soon.
