‘Your Legacy Inspires Nigerian Women’ — Betta Edu Hails Oluremi Tinubu at 66

 

Dr. Betta Edu, Director of Women Mobilisation of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, has celebrated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, on her 66th birthday, describing her leadership journey as an inspiration to millions of Nigerian women.

In a birthday tribute issued on behalf of the APC Women Mobilisation Directorate, Edu highlighted the First Lady’s years of public service and described her story as one marked by courage, consistency, resilience and responsibility.

“Your Excellency, today I celebrate the woman behind the office—the woman whose quiet determination, resilience and deep concern for people have left an impression on countless lives,” Edu said.

“Your journey reminds us that influence is not measured only by the positions we occupy, but by the confidence we awaken in others and the opportunities we help create for those who come after us,” she said.

Edu further described the First Lady’s story as a reminder to Nigerian women that they can pursue their aspirations while balancing leadership, family and community responsibilities.

“For Nigerian women, your story is a powerful reminder that we can carry our responsibilities with conviction, pursue our aspirations without restraint, and remain committed to lifting our communities,” she added.

The APC women mobilisation director also offered prayers for the First Lady, asking God to continue to guide and protect her and her family while granting her many more years of service.

“On your 66th birthday, I pray that Almighty God continues to order your steps, protect you and your family, and grant you many more years in which your presence will remain a source of encouragement to those you serve,” Edu said.

She wished Senator Oluremi Tinubu deeper fulfilment, enduring joy and the satisfaction of seeing more Nigerian women rise to positions of strength and influence.

“Happy birthday, Your Excellency. May this new chapter bring you deeper fulfilment, enduring joy and the satisfaction of seeing many more Nigerian women rise into their own strength,” she said.
